That's easier to do in the Eastern Conference haha

I still find it mind boggling that the Knights are still doing as well as they are this year. I think its only a matter of time before they fade away after all they are playing with house money it seems.

I would say, it's more to do with Gerard Gallant: the best coach hardly anyone has ever heard of.

I tend to think so too, but they're not a bad team, they're legitimately okay/decent. With their hot start, playing .500 ROS will get them pretty close to the playoffs.

Haha well. You certainly have the best player of this bunch (by far), but I'd take Marchessault, Karlsson, and Smith over the rest of these Kings. I don't think Karlsson is a 40-goal scorer lol, that's his end-of-season projection now, but I've seen enough to see a solid 2C for years to come.

Gallant is a big part of their success, but the aforementioned Knights forwards are legitimately good players, don't sleep on them. It's not the coach who's on the ice.

If I could somehow guarantee that Brown continues to play the way he has played for the first 1/3 of this season, then I would take him over all three of the Vegas guys. Gaborik probably not, but he has looked very good in the handful of games he has played in since returning. He was exceptional in the Minnesota game on Tuesday.

Either way, if you told me I had to play 20 minutes per game with one of those lines that I listed above, I would take either of the Kings' lines over Vegas's in a heartbeat.

No, but he's practicing in full. Return is imminent with no setbacks.

So Seattle came in a bit too late eh? Hockey in Vegas makes no sense. once the freakshow wears off this will be another team in dire need of fans. the players are decent but they will have no fans in 5 years. maybe before then

I really cannot see this happening. They’re the only pro sports team in a large city centre, and tourism alone will likely keep them afloat.

Also your post came off awfully Richardish. Just saying.

I suspect Brown will slow down, that projection is why I consider him the fifth-best player in that bunch. Kopitar, on the other hand, I believe very much in his resurgence.

Anyway, comparing lines, I think it's closer than you think. But yea, I'd generally go with the line which has a superstar elevating things. Marchessault-Karlsson-Smith is three second-line players (Marchessault may be a little bit more) complementing each other.
